So, some time ago (like two years!) I heard that Time Burton was going to make one of my favorite TV series Dark Shadows into a movie casting Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins! EEEK! I have patiently waited for this film to come out, and have barely heard any news about it since. I decided to look online, since the interwebs are so knowledgeable, and the only update I could find was an approximate release sometime in 2011?!!?! BOO!
Getting excited for Halloween, I'm going as Lizzie Borden, where to?, not sure yet, but excited none-the-less!
D picked up some pumpkins today, and finally pulled out the Halloween decor, think I'll get busy on that now! xo.

moving along...
So I have been discussing ideas with Samantha of hotscotphotos.com recently and she is all for recreating the Theda Bara photo from my last post, as well as a set inspired by the twenties era. However, we're gonna try to steer away from the flapper genre, and shoot for a bit more relaxed and natural feel. Exciting :)
I recently bought a vintage cello on ebay. It's beautiful, but it didn't come with a bow, so I have been playing it like a stand up bass, which is fun, but I really wanna get down on it with a bow! So our friend Niles is here and he brought a bow over, which means I must go now...bye-bye!

silently salivating over...
I've always wanted to recreate stills from old silent films, at the top of my list is Theda Bara in A Fool There Was. Theda makes my heart palpitate, and this film deemed her the "Original Vamp". I have an old lifesize skeleton that my boyfriend picked up from a thrift store, which would be perfect should I ever get around to doing this project.
I also have a thing for photos of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Sorrow, etc., as well as a serious obsession with old anatomy diagrams...
xo.
